Turnkey Mapping Solution
For departments that do not have the resources to collect the data to build maps and integrate them into the RUNBOOK software, ERM will collect available data on their behalf and build the GIS maps for their district.
With the Department's assistance, ERM will contact the appropriate agencies (County Assessors offices, Water Districts, etc.) to obtain available GIS data. Where GIS data is not available, we will recommend options for the department to collect those data.
Information that is typically available includes:
- Roads and Streets
- Property Boundaries
- Aerial Photography
Information which may require additional collection by department employees includes:
- Hydrant location
- Public buildings
Training will be provided by ERM at current training rates. Technical support, including assistance with using software purchased, creating and editing maps, and fixing problems with maps is available at current rates.
