Emergency Response Maps (ERM) was founded in 2000 to meet the growing needs of Federal, State, County, and City governments to produce publishable quality map products from GIS data and attributes. ERM specializes in mapping integration for first responders. Our RUNBOOK® software, links PrePlan, Video, HazMat specifications and other data with high quality maps for complete dispatch, incident management, reporting, analysis and more.

ERM also offers an enhanced version of Wiser®, either embedded in RUNBOOK or as a standalone product.

Our RUNBOOK software offers superior mission-critical routing, incident management, preplan, and hazardous material handling solutions for all public safety vehicles, PSAPS and 911 centers. The software combines the advanced features found in ERM's RUNBOOK software and Chemical Hazards Response system. RUNBOOK's easy-to-use format displays hydrant status, chemical information, hospital locators, land parcels, facility planning, and synchronized street management. ERM combines these tools with powerful GIS features including vehicle routing, identify, look-up, measuring tools, GPS functionality, PrePlans, and EPA Tier II data capabilities.

The new RUNBOOK, features Wiser®, a hazmat response product which allows responders to search for hazardous materials by chemical name, UN number, CAS number, DOT placard or NFPA placard. Having Wiser embedded in RUNBOOK, an ERM exclusive, significantly improves our ability to provide exceptional software and services to our clients. We have greatly improved the speed of map loading and are modifying routing to reflect road classes.
